Officially speaking, PDCA Security™ was founded in 2007.
But considering PDCA Security™ to be a new company would be missing the point, since the real added value that we bring to our customers comes from the broad practical information security experience that its founder and lead consultant – Oren Paz, brings with him.
Oren started his information security career from the ground up – starting out as a computer technician, moving on to network management, and on to specific information security roles he filled in several top-tier companies like Check Point software technologies (www.checkpoint.com) – where he was one of their two senior IS security instructors in the world, Motorola Israel (www.motorola.com), where he founded and ran the information security services department, and CA, where he was senior consultant for about four years, after which he founded PDCA Security™. PDCA Security™ is focused on bringing customers real-world experience in an area in information security which is too often lacking – information security management. Most organizations are very strong in the technical levels of information security, but either find it difficult implement their technical tools in the grand context of the business, or are not even aware of the problem this “technical bias” presents in today’s complex Information Systems environment.
